Connect Physio is a specialist private physiotherapy service providing prosthetic and amputee rehabilitation across the North West of the UK. We work with individuals at all stages of the rehabilitation pathway, from early post-amputation support through to long-term functional optimisation and return to work, sport, or independent living.
Connect Physio is a truly independent physiotherapy provider. We are not aligned with any prosthetic manufacturer, prosthetic provider, case management company, or law firm. This allows us to deliver impartial assessments and rehabilitation that are fully focused on the individual’s goals, clinical needs, and long-term outcomes. Unlike other community physiotherapists, we specifically offer specialist prosthetic and amputee community physiotherapy.
We are based in the North West of the UK and provide services across the region. Physiotherapy can be delivered in the community, in clinic settings, or across multiple environments depending on need.
We work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults who have experienced limb loss for any reason, including trauma, vascular disease, cancer, infection, or congenital limb difference.

Rehabilitation duration varies depending on the client’s needs, goals, stage of recovery, and complexity. Some clients require short-term input, while others benefit from longer-term support.

Yes. Connect Physio is a private service. Funding may be provided by individuals, insurers, legal claims, or employers.
Primarily, we work across the North West. However, we can discuss out-of-area requests on a case-by-case basis.
An initial discussion or assessment is arranged to understand the client’s circumstances, needs, goals, and current level of function. A personalised rehabilitation plan is then developed, including associated costs. The plan is then sent to referrer, once this is approved, treatment can commence.
Clients or referrers can contact Connect Physio directly via the website, email, or telephone to discuss needs and arrange an initial consultation.
